Groomer History

Kirrily Bayley, is the main groomer at the Newton salon. She is a trained vet assistant and has been grooming dogs since 2003. She originally started as a mobile groomer and built a happy and loyal following. When her love for the job and great aptitude for grooming took hold she knew that she wanted to build a salon based business that focused on the concerns people have about other common salon practices. Kirrily has a calm and confident way with all the pets she grooms, including those that are not very happy with the whole grooming experience. She has successfully completed her the TAFE Dog Grooming Certificate and has a Diploma in Business Management. Kirrily had her third child in October 2014. Kirrily and Bill welcomed a girl named Queenie, a beautiful sister to Adikus and Wyatt.

Newton Salon

In December 2005, Kirrily with the help from her Mum, opened the salon at Newton. Kirrily has built a strong loyal customer base and her reputation as a caring, expert groomer has spread in the local area. The business at Newton has proven to be very successful. The Newton salon gets regular referrals from many of the local vet clinics in the area. We have other regular staff members – all with extensive experience and expertise in the industry. You may meet Trudy or Kirrily’s husband Bill during your visit. Dirty Dogs has always been a family affair. Clients love that their dogs are relaxed and happy when they go home from the salon. This can mostly be attributed to the caring attitude of our staff and the fact that dogs are not caged and can happily socialize with the other dogs (a very natural instinct for dogs).
